The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky is something you don’t want to miss! Whether you’re a car guy, a racing enthusiast, or just a normal Joe or Jolene wanting something cool to see, The National Corvette Museum should be a must on your bucket list.
How long does it take to tour the Corvette Museum?
The Corvette Museum is a self-guided experience that can be completed in as little as an hour. Each time we have visited, it has taken us a little longer than an hour, but we really like to take our time and experience each exhibit. There are also guided tours available seven days a week at 11:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
The cars and exhibits are always being updated so each visit offers something new in the way of entertainment. Currently (June 2024) there is a New Sink Hole Exhibit celebrating 10 years since the National Corvette Museum suffered massage damage and losses due to an underground cave opening up. This story made national news in 2014, and since then, the Corvette Museum has worked tirelessly to incorporate this into the visitor’s experience.

In addition to the Corvette Museum exhibits, they have recently installed Corvette Simulators to give you a first-hand experience at driving one of these masterpieces. There is a height requirement of 48″ and an additional ticket price is required for the simulator experience.
While enjoying your time at the museum, you really should plan a visit to the Stingray Grill. You can make reservations online, however, we’ve never needed them. We usually get a table within a few minutes of arrival. The food is phenomenal. The prices are a little more than what I would call ‘normal,’ but I think you’re paying for location and the experience of eating at the museum.
