Spend the day shopping in Nashville, Tennessee. With Bowling Green being a bedroom community of Nashville, at only an hour outside the city, it’s an fun way to take a short excursion and spend the day. There is so much to see and do in Nashville from downtown Broadway to a concert or sporting event, there is always something going on.
We chose to spend our time checking out The Mall at Green Hills. Let me tell you, coming from an area where there aren’t a lot of luxury stores, this mall was a delight!
Luxury stores and more
When you spend the day shopping in Nashville, Tennessee, there are a ton of luxury stores to visit and enjoy. I’m linking the mall website for a complete and updated listing. Here are just a few we enjoyed during our day out.

#1 Restoration Hardware
The whole reason for our trip was to hit three stores specifically: Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, and West Elm. While West Elm was a block away from the mall, Crate and Barrel and RH are located in the mall itself.
We have visited RH galleries in St. Louis, West Palm Beach, and Nashville. I’m pleased to say the Nashville gallery has been the most pleasant experience so far. The staff are friendly and polite while remaining professional and helpful. We had plenty of time to wander through the multiple floors of the gallery, we were allowed to take photos, and the staff welcomed us in as if we were their top clients.

While shopping in Nashville Tennessee, here are a few of the things at RH that inspired us. In the coming days, we will show you how we turn this RH inspiration into beautiful home decor on a budget.

#2 West Elm
We are huge fans of West Elm. We have several furniture pieces purchased from here, and we love each one. The West Elm of Nashville was a bit smaller than some we’ve visited, but still, a great experience. In face, there was a huge ‘Clearance” section toward the back of the store – and that’s not something we typically see.
While shopping in Nashville, the West Elm inspired us in several ways, as well. We’re going to highlight a few of these areas in the coming days, again, talking about how we take the inspiration and style it up on a budget.
West Elm Inspiration
- Fluted Glassware
- Black Metal Candle Sticks
- Luxury Bedding
#3 Crate and Barrel
Let me contain myself for a moment. When we first walked up to the storefront window, I nearly squealed. I peered into the window and saw my aesthetic, my vibe, my happy place! Going through the store felt like being home. It felt natural and modern, clean and sophisticated, livable and comfortable. In my opinion, Crate and Barrel is EVERYTHING. Sigh….
Here are the highlights from Crate and Barrel. We’re going to take this inspiration and talk you through recreating this look on a budget in the next few days. Stay tuned! You don’t want to miss it.
