Fall candles are a staple in our home. From the time my kids were school aged, I welcomed the end of summer and kicked off the start of fall with a fresh autumn scent. Around our parts, school started the end of July – not even remotely close to autumn. But because I grew up in a time when the school year started at the end of August, back to school time meant fall.
As I lit the mulled cider candles on August 1, I remember my husband saying, “It’s barely August!!!” Of course, I was trying to keep my kids from feeling like they were losing part of their summer, and I chose to do that through fragrance. I don’t think fall candles have to fill your house with the scent of pumpkin pie spice or baked apple pies. Although, I am a sucker for mulled cider now that I think of it.

Another leather scent for fall – but this one blends in the scent of musk, orange, clove and vanilla. That makes this one most like a traditional fall scent. This candle is also hand-poured and American made. Burn time is approximately 60 hours. I might have one in my cart right now.
