For amazing Mexican food, you have to try Jalisco Mexican Restaurant in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Relatively new to Bowling Green, it is a breath of fresh air to the chain-like competitors of the area.
We’ve lived in Bowling Green for a year now, and the food and service at Jalisco is top notch. That’s not throwing shade toward other restaurants like Garcia’s and Los Mariachis, but in the vein of being the new kid on the block, this place can stand on it’s own merit.
We arrived early on a Tuesday night. The dinner crowd hadn’t arrived yet, but the we weren’t alone in our search for amazing cocina.
Service with a smile
Our server was AMAZING! She was friendly and beautiful – and when we asked what she recommended, she quickly gave her favorites. She told us that while it is normally served during lunch hour, she could ask the kitchen to make it for us since they weren’t busy yet.
We each ordered the 5 street tacos: we got our choice of about 8 proteins and our choice of beans or consume. What we received was no less than brilliant. The whole evening was on point, and we truly enjoyed our dinner experience.
