How to Forward Your Mail in 2025!

Happy New Year, friend! I hope you are excited about all the new year hold for you. It’s a blank slate and it’s full of potential and possibility. What are your goals? Your hopes and dreams? What are your expectations? WOW! I just want to know them all and embark on your journey with you! Forward Our Mail is a blog about a crazy moving adventure where we hope to move someone new each year (or year and a half). While we are there, we want to live like locals and experience everything we can while we’re there! We invite you to go with us. Together we’ll learn how to organize, downsize, and declutter. We’ll find smart storage solutions, debunk decorating dilemmas, and gather motivation and inspiration for every day life!

About our Niche |

We started Forward Our Mail in May of 2024. We are very much in our infancy, here. That means we still have so much to learn. Learning means we seek advice, guidance, and direction from others who are well seasoned in this field. 

When you begin a blog you have to find your niche. From the conception, we knew what our niche would be. Our niche is this crazy adventure of life we are embarking on. Our goal is to move somewhere new every year to 18 months. We want to live like a local wherever we land, and experience all we can while we’re there. 

While that topic is our niche, not every post can be about that niche. I mean, we aren’t constantly moving, packing, going, doing, adventuring and seeing… Most of our days are just normal days, just like yours. 

However, it does mean we are figuring things out as we go. Each move presents new challenges, like storage solutions, decorating decisions, self-storage facilities, packing and organizing lessons, and how to meet new people and settle into a community when you’re only going to be there a short period of time. 

I recently had someone tell me our blog would never take off if we didn’t “settle into our niche.” But our niche has a very very wide scope. And we intend to continue to bring you all the aspects of that scope. 

So, around here you’ll see information come to you regarding storage space, organizing, decluttering, decorating, relationship-building, and life-living. It’s all very much a part of our broader niche and we hope you’ll stick around to see what we can learn together.

Indeed, it has been a dream of ours at Forward Our Mail for over a year to set up affiliate links with providers and brands with whom we can partner to bring you products we love and recommend. 

What that means is that when we create gift guides or post links to places like Amazon, Walmart, etc, we may earn a small commission when you purchase through those links. It isn’t an added cost to you, and in some situations, there will be coupon codes or additional discounts offered to you. 

We hope you’ll take advantage of some of the offers, but we never want you to feel pressured to do so. The commission we earn only helps to cover the costs of running the blog and sending the newsletters. 

It is our sincere hope that sometime in the coming year, we will have a few brand partners to introduce you to. One of our goals in this moving adventure is that we will be able to relocate ourselves, each time, without help from hired professional movers.

As of right now, there is nothing in our apartment we cannot move by ourselves. That’s HUGE when embarking on this kind of lifestyle.
